30^th Annual Mid-Atlantic Disaster Response Auction – Saturday, May 1, 2010

This all-day event begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 1, 2010  at the Carroll County Agricultural Center in Westminster, MD.  Last year’s auction raised over $63,000.  Of that, $58,000 was given to the Emergency Disaster Fund of the COB General Board to help victims of disasters around the world.   $5,000 was given to the Mid-Atlantic District for transportation of volunteers serving in various locations in the United States.

You can help disaster victims by contributing auction items, such as antiques, crafts, framed artwork, collectible toys, gift baskets, and fine woodwork.  To donate,  call John at 410-635-6342, or Jeff at 410-775-2976.   If you have a special item of high value, you may also send a photo with a description of the item to 24 Hilltop Lane, South Elgin, Illinois 60177; or, email the photo to: auctionbooklet@comcast.net.   If you contact one of them by February 20, the photo of your donated item will be published in the 2010 Auction Book.
