Friendship Sunday

Sunday, November 1 is Friendship Sunday.  Why not invite a friend to come join in Sunday School and Worship?  No we don’t do anything special or different during the service.  We want folks to experience a typical Sunday in our worship life.  But we do want to invite friends and neighbors to “Come and see.”  Come join in.  See what Grossnickle Church of the Brethren is all about. 

This is also the day of the dinner honoring New Members.  So you could invite your friends and neighbors to stay for the meal in the Parish Hall.  If you invite folks and you all will be joining in lunch,  please call the church office, 301-293-9516,  and give us a count so we can be sure to have more than enough food.  Thanks!

Jesus said,  “Go into all the world and make disciples…..”   That’s our mission, to make disciples.  The first step is inviting folks to come and see.  “Come join in.”  “Come see what God is doing in this place.”
